Edition 2025 — Welschnofen Mill Festival

The 2025 edition of the Traditionelles Mühlenfest by the Schützenkompanie Welschnofen took place on July 19 at the Getreidemühle in Carezza al Lago, in the municipality of Nova Levante/Welschnofen (BZ). As per tradition, the mill festival featured an outdoor mass, South Tyrolean folk music, grain-milling demonstrations in the ancient water mill, and a food stand with local specialties.

Mühlenfest 2025

On July 19, 2025, the Schützenkompanie Welschnofen hosted the Traditionelles Mühlenfest at the Getreidemühle Karersee, in the municipality of Nova Levante/Welschnofen, Bolzano province. The day, included in the official municipal calendar under the category "Fest, Brauchtum" (festival and tradition), followed the classic format of the event: opening with an outdoor mass, folk music in traditional costume, visits to the working mill, and peasant gastronomy.

The biennial festival reaffirmed the strong bond of the Welschnofen community with its historical heritage and the ancient mill rebuilt by the Schützen in the Eggental Dolomites.
