Edition 2025 — Almabtrieb Tiers am Rosengarten

The 2025 edition of the Tiers am Rosengarten Almabtrieb took place on Sunday, October 5. Starting at 11:00 AM on the Platzliner meadow in San Cipriano, the village welcomed the return of the livestock from the pastures: around 1:30 PM, the decorated herds arrived amidst folk music, entertainment, and South Tyrolean culinary specialties.

Almabtrieb 2025

The 2025 transhumance in Tiers am Rosengarten was held on Sunday, October 5, on the Platzliner meadow in the San Cipriano (St. Zyprian) area. As per tradition, festivities began around 11:00 AM, and around 1:30 PM, the herds, decorated with crowns of greenery and cowbells, arrived in the valley, welcomed by live music and typical South Tyrolean specialties. The event, organized by the Tiers Bauernjugend, confirmed the importance of this rural custom at the foot of the Catinaccio.
