Ten years in the alleys

The 2025 edition of Tra i Vicoli di Cautano, scheduled from August 12 to 14 in the historic center of the Municipality of Cautano (province of Benevento), marked the milestone of the tenth edition, built year after year by the volunteers of the Pro Loco Cepino-Prata Cautano APS. The chosen theme was the roots of the territory: the stone, the land, family cooking, and the memory of the village.

The first evening was opened at Palazzo Caporaso by a conference dedicated to Mount Taburno and the encounter between roots, stories, places, and community; in the evening, art exhibitions and artisan workshops were inaugurated, with local stonemasons working on stone in front of the public. Over the three evenings, food stalls with typical dishes, musical shows in the squares, children's theater, fire performances, and itinerant attractions along the illuminated alleys alternated.

The edition was also the occasion for a visit by UNPLI inspectors tasked with evaluating the event for the Sagra di Qualità mark, which was subsequently awarded to the Pro Loco in March 2026 at the Senate.
