The 2025 Lago di Tesero Sprint
On January 3, 2025, the classic technique sprint of the Tour de Ski opened the three days in Fiemme at the Lago di Tesero Cross-Country Stadium, on tracks renovated for the Milano Cortina 2026 Games. In the men's field, Johannes Høsflot Klæbo dominated ahead of his compatriot Even Northug and the Swede Marcus Grate; an excellent fourth place for Federico Pellegrino, who managed to fight with the Norwegian champion on the toughest climb before yielding in the sprint. Among the women, victory went to the Swiss Nadine Fähndrich ahead of the Swede Linn Svahn and the Norwegian Heidi Weng. The race, held before a large crowd in Val di Fiemme, confirmed the Tesero stadium as a premier stage for world cross-country skiing.
