Totano Festival

The fifth edition of the Totano Festival was held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, at the Parco Urbano of Spadafora, in the province of Messina.

The star of the evening was the squid, a fish symbolizing the maritime tradition of Spadafora, caught by local fishermen and offered in numerous traditional culinary preparations. The public was able to enjoy the squid-based specialties accompanied by the atmosphere of a village festival, with music, entertainment, and folk groups.

The event was organized by the Associazione 19 Marzo 1860 APS with the patronage of the Municipality of Spadafora, confirming the growing success of an event that has now become a permanent fixture in the summer calendar of the Tyrrhenian coast of Messina.
