Tossignano Polenta Festival and Borgo Macaroni Fair

The 403rd Tossignano Polenta Festival was held on March 4, 2025, in the Municipality of Borgo Tossignano (Bologna, Emilia-Romagna). In Piazza Andrea Costa, distribution began at 12:00 PM for residents and at 1:00 PM for everyone, with about two quintals of flour and three quintals of meat prepared in the large copper pots. At 2:15 PM, the delegation of polenta makers reached Piazzetta don Bosco for the traditional plate exchange with the macaroni makers of Borgo. There was also live music, stalls, artistic plates from the Cooperativa Ceramica di Imola, and the free Polentabus shuttle service.
