Torrese Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Torrese Carnival confirmed the vitality of this tradition in the Municipality of Torregrotta, in the province of Messina. The parades were spread over several days in February: on February 13, the allegorical floats paraded in Roccavaldina and subsequently along the streets of Torregrotta, starting from the Scala seafront, accompanied by the marching band and majorettes.

On Sunday, the floats departed from Fondachello Valdina together with the costumed groups, enlivened by majorettes, flag-wavers of the City of Bisignano, Brazilian dancers, and the City of Torregrotta marching band. On Shrove Tuesday, February 23, the final parade featured allegorical floats, costumed groups, the City of Roccavaldina band, majorettes, and flag-wavers, with departure and arrival in the central square where the awarding of the floats took place.
