Torchlight Procession, Polenta and Mulled Wine

The 2025 Torchlight Procession, Polenta and Mulled Wine was held in Opi on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Organized by the Pro Loco of Opi, the festival featured the traditional torchlight parade that illuminates the historic center of the medieval village, in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.

At sunset, the community gathered for the torchlight procession through the stone alleys, followed by a tasting of Polenta Opiana, mulled wine, and hot chocolate. Between festive music and the warmth of the fire, the event confirmed its role as a winter appointment beloved by residents and visitors alike.
