In 2025, Tolmezzo Vie dei Libri confirmed its profile as the cross-border literary festival of Carnia, with a rich program of meetings with authors, music, and art spread across the Cinema David, the Teatro Candoni, and the squares of Tolmezzo's centre.
The 2025 edition consolidated the festival's formula, bringing dozens of events combining literature, music, dance, and art to Tolmezzo. With artistic direction by Gian Mario Villalta and collaboration from Fondazione Pordenonelegge, the festival featured meetings with nationally renowned authors and local voices, enhancing its cross-border spirit and cultural dialogue between Italy and Slovenia.
