Toll'e fave / Feast of Saint Paschal

The 2025 edition of the feast of Saint Paschal in Tollo, in the province of Chieti, took place in mid-May, on the feast day of the patron saint Saint Paschal Baylon (May 17th). The religious program included a solemn Holy Mass in the parish church and a procession with the statue of the saint. In parallel, the historic center hosted the "Toll'e fave" festival, with stalls serving the traditional fava bean and garlic dish, local wines, evening concerts, and craft markets. An appointment that confirmed, in the Land of Grapes and Wine, the strong bond between popular faith and Abruzzo's food and wine culture.
