Tignano Festival for the Environment and the Meeting of Peoples

The 2025 edition, the 36th of the festival, had peace, the environment, and investigative journalism as its guiding themes. The eight evenings at the Castello di Tignano, in Barberino Tavarnelle, alternated meetings, award ceremonies, and concerts.

Guests included artist Alessandro Bergonzoni and investigative journalists Sabrina Giannini and Sigfrido Ranucci, with tributes dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini, Giulietto Chiesa, and Rino Gaetano. On July 10, the Environment Award was presented to Sabrina Giannini; on July 12, an opera concert was held by artists from the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino featuring music by Verdi, Donizetti, and Puccini; on July 19, Rino Gaetano's band, led by his nephew Alessandro, took the stage.
