Edition 2025 — Tiber Carnival
Tiber Carnival 2025 — 4th edition
On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the Tiber returned to being the stage for the Roman Carnival. The meeting was set for 10:00 AM at Scalo de Pinedo, where entertainers welcomed masked children; at 11:00 AM, the walk along the banks and the descent on the water towards Castel Sant'Angelo began simultaneously, with a first stop after about 4 kilometers and a second at Ponte Sisto, before the return scheduled by 2:00 PM.
The edition, organized by the ASD Discesa Internazionale del Tevere in collaboration with Marevivo, Agenda Tevere, and Roma Rafting, confirmed the free and participatory format: prizes for the most creative masks inspired by the river theme and made from recycled materials, a special prize for children, and an Instagram photo contest. For the water descent, membership in the association, a life jacket, a helmet, and suitable footwear were mandatory.
