Edition 2025 — Threshing Festival
Eighth edition, July 26-27, 2025
The 2025 edition of the Threshing and Greasy Pole Festival enlivened the Masseria Quisisana in Mottola on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, with evenings starting at 7:30 PM. At the center of the two days were the historical re-enactment of threshing and the food and wine stalls featuring local products.
The soundtrack was provided by folk music: on Saturday the 26th, the group Taranto Fil Morena performed, and on Sunday the 27th, the Folkasud concert took place. The event, organized by the Associazione Agricoltura e Storia in Masseria with the support of the Municipality of Mottola and the collaboration of the Ortolani family and the Terre Nostre association, reaffirmed its commitment to passing on the traditions of the rural culture of the Murgia area of Taranto.
