Three Municipalities Road Race

2025 Edition — A Record Success

The nineteenth edition of the Three Municipalities Road Race was held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, starting from Roccaraso (Piazza Giovanni Leone) at 9:15 AM, then passing through Rivisondoli, with its characteristic 400-step staircase, and Pescocostanzo, before returning to Roccaraso along the 15-kilometer route.

The edition recorded a record turnout of over 900 participants, a figure that made it one of the most attended in the history of the race. In the men's field, Daniele D'Onofrio (Fiamme Oro Padova) triumphed with a time of 51'24", while Alessia Righetti (Misano Podismo) won the women's race in 1h01'14". The event, included in the Corrilabruzzo UISP and Corri Marsica UISP circuits, confirmed its role as a reference point for summer running in Abruzzo.
