Edition 2025 — The World's Theatres

The 36th edition of The World's Theatres took place in Porto Sant'Elpidio from July 12 to 19, 2025, with over 50 shows including actor theatre, puppetry, marionettes, dance theatre, and circus arts. Record numbers with a +12% increase in tickets sold. The 'Città dei bambini' Award went to 'Sciopero!' by Schedía Teatro, while the youth jury's Gianni Battilà Award went to 'Robin Hood' by Teatro Giovani Teatro Pirata.

2025 Edition — The 36th

The 36th edition of The World's Theatres was held in Porto Sant'Elpidio from July 12 to 19, 2025, concluding at the Parco della Resistenza in the San Filippo district. The festival, organized by the Municipality and the Lagrù association, offered over 50 performances for children and families, achieving record numbers with a 12% increase in tickets sold and broad participation from the public and the youth jury.

The Porto Sant'Elpidio - Città dei bambini Award was presented to 'Sciopero! Quella volta che il lupo smise di lavorare' by the Milanese company Schedía Teatro. The Gianni Battilà Award, voted by the youth jury, went to 'Robin Hood' by Teatro Giovani Teatro Pirata from Jesi. The closing show was 'Lost in Rock' by Freakclown. Tickets were priced at 4 euros, with the option of season tickets for multiple shows.
