The 25th edition: twenty-five years of murals

From July 22 to 26, 2025, Azzinano di Tossicia celebrated twenty-five years of the The Walls Tell Tales of Childhood Games festival. Throughout the week, eight naïve painters worked live in the alleys of the Teramo village: Amedeo Marchetti (Trento), Carmen Crisafulli (Messina), Damiano Valbusa (Brescia), Dino Fiorini (Reggio Emilia), Franco Mora (Mantua), Iago Barbieri (Modena), Liberio Furlini (Trento), and Salvo Caramagno (Catania).

Saturday, July 26, was the highlight: in the late afternoon, the meeting-debate «The Murals of Azzinano. Culture, territory, future», moderated by journalist Umberto Braccili, and in the evening, at 9:30 PM, the concert by Modie — Soul&Pop Essentials, in collaboration with the Società dei Concerti Barattelli of L'Aquila. The event was organized by the Pro Loco of Azzinano with the patronage of the Municipality of Tossicia.
