The Village of Wishes 2025 in Castelnuovo di Porto

On August 10, 2025, the village of Castelnuovo di Porto, in the province of Rome, joined the national initiative "The Village of Wishes" promoted by the 'Most Beautiful Villages in Italy' association. The theme of the year, "If I were... I would...", invited participants to reflect on their dreams and imagine a better future.

The evening began at 6:30 PM with a walk through the alleys of the historic center and the Rocca Colonna, in an itinerary dedicated to the sky, the stars, and hope. This was followed by a sunset aperitif on the terrace, under the first stars. The most evocative moment was the wishing ritual: each participant wrote their wish on a note and deposited it into an ancient village well, "symbolic, silent, and full of memories." One of the collected wishes represented Castelnuovo di Porto in the final national selection.

The 2025 edition took place on Sunday, August 10, starting at 6:30 PM, with the theme "If I were... I would...".

• From 6:30 PM — Itinerary to discover the historic center and the Rocca Colonna, dedicated to the sky, the stars, and hope.
• Followed by — Sunset aperitif on the terrace, under the first stars.
• In the evening — Writing wishes on notes and depositing them in the ancient village well; one of the collected wishes represented Castelnuovo di Porto in the final national selection.
