2025 Edition in Abbateggio
The fifth edition of The Village of Wishes took place on the night of Sunday, August 10, 2025, coinciding with the night of St. Lawrence and the shooting stars. Abbateggio, among the Abruzzo villages belonging to the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy network, participated along with many other municipalities in the network throughout Italy.
The national theme of the 2025 edition was "If I were... I would...", an invitation to reflect creatively on what one would like to be and achieve. From sunset to dawn, in the historic center of the municipality in the province of Pescara, it was possible to write one's wish and entrust it to the indicated place, among the stone alleys at the foot of the Majella. Participation was free and open to all.
