Edition 2025 — The Valley of Soul

In July 2025, The Valley of Soul confirmed the formula of free, travelling soul concerts in the Bolognese Apennines, the territorial offshoot of the Porretta Soul Festival. The Municipality of Grizzana Morandi was also among the venues for the event, with performances in the usual settings of the Rocchetta Mattei and the park of Villa Mingarelli, with free admission and in the evening.

The Valley of Soul 2025

The 2025 edition renewed the appointment with soul music among the villages of the Bolognese Apennines, in parallel with the Porretta Soul Festival. The concerts, free and travelling, touched several municipalities in the Reno valley, including Grizzana Morandi (Province of Bologna), where the event confirmed its historic locations: the Rocchetta Mattei and the park of Villa Mingarelli. A proven formula that combines great soul and R&B voices with the landscape and architectural heritage of Emilia-Romagna, under the artistic direction of Graziano Uliani.
