The Valley of Soul in Vergato 2025
In July 2025, the Municipality of Vergato (Province of Bologna) renewed its appointment with The Valley of Soul, the traveling and free event linked to the Porretta Soul Festival. The concert, with free admission, was held in the town center in the usual settings of the event, bringing the great soul and rhythm & blues music of the Bolognese Apennines to Vergato.
The 2025 edition of the main festival, the 37th, took place in Porretta Terme from July 24 to 27, 2025, with artistic direction by Graziano Uliani. As every year, the protagonists of the Porretta stage continued their tour in neighboring municipalities, offering free concerts to those who do not reach Rufus Thomas Park. A tried-and-tested formula that combines the voices of American soul music with the Emilia-Romagna region.
