Edition 2025 — The Time of Berta

In 2025, Il Tempo di Berta once again animated Montegrotto Terme with its medieval re-enactment inspired by the legend of Berta and Empress Bertha of Savoy: medieval village, historical costume parade, Palio delle Sei Contrade (horse race), falconry, fire shows, and medieval dinner, organized by APS Berta.

Il Tempo di Berta is one of the most established historical re-enactments in the Euganean area, inspired by the 11th-century legend that gave rise to the famous saying "The time when Berta spun is over".

In the 2025 edition, the medieval village took shape with encampments, artisans, and a tavern, while the costume parade and the Palio delle Sei Contrade (horse race) involved the city's districts. Falconry, fire shows, and the theatrical performance of the legend completed a program faithful to tradition, under the organization of APS Berta.

Admission to the village is free; medieval dinner requires reservation.
