The Taste of Summer

The 2025 edition of The Taste of Summer, held on Saturday, June 28th, from 7:00 PM, brought the historic centre of San Donato Val di Comino to life with a rich taste trail: about thirty culinary stations offered polenta with pork ribs, sagne e fagioli, veal stew, maltagliati with asparagus and bacon, truffle gnocchi, porchetta, sausages, lamb skewers, veal asado, and arrosticini, alongside craft beers, wines from Comino Valley producers, creative cocktails, and artisan desserts.

Local bands and street performers accompanied the stroll between the stalls, before the final DJ set that kept the square dancing until late in the evening. Admission was free, with food and drinks available for purchase directly at the stalls: a formula that ensured the success of the evening, organised by the Pro Loco with Visit San Donato Val di Comino and the municipality.
