The Souls of the Guitar

The 2025 edition of Le Anime della Chitarra enlivened Castell'Arquato from July 17 to 20, confirming the formula that combines advanced training and concerts open to the public. On Thursday, July 17, the day began with a conference by Francesco Biraghi dedicated to Italian guitarists, followed in the evening by a concert by the Duo Savigni (Enrica and Laura Savigni) and a recital by Tilman Hoppstock at the Palazzo del Podestà. Friday, July 18, featured Samrat Majumder, winner of the Deutscher Gitarrenpreis 2024. The conference on Ferdinand Rebay and the concerts by masterclass students completed the weekend, alongside the luthiery exhibition with master builders. The festival is organized by the Union of Mountain Municipalities of Alta Val d'Arda in the village in the province of Piacenza.
