Edition 2025 — The Soul of the Villages

In the summer of 2025, the hamlets of Val di Peio renewed their tradition of village festivals. Among the most anticipated was the Cogolo Festival, scheduled from August 29 to 31, 2025, organized by the Gruppo Giovani Cogol: three days of typical Trentino dishes, live concerts, DJ sets, and traditional moments including mass, a procession, and a brass band.

The summer of 2025 confirmed the vitality of the village festivals in Val di Peio, in the Municipality of Peio (Trentino). The highlight of the calendar was the Cogolo Festival (August 29-31, 2025), organized by the Gruppo Giovani Cogol: dinner with grilled meats and a concert on Friday, barley soup and a folk evening on Saturday, and mass with a procession, lunch with spätzle, and traditional dancing on Sunday.

As in the other hamlets, the festival combined the religious dimension of devotion to the patron saint with a folkloric and community spirit, with typical Trentino cuisine, live music, and family activities serving as a bridge between the generations of the village.
