The Romantic Night in the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy

The 2025 edition of Grottammare's Romantic Night was held on Saturday, June 21, with the title 'Paths through the Old Hamlet' (Percorsi al Vecchio Incasato), a free poetic walk through the streets and squares of the medieval village of Grottammare Alta, starting at 6:30 PM from Piazza Peretti.

The initiative, promoted together with Utes and the International Poetry Festival 'La punta della lingua', featured the poets Vito M. Bonito, Marco Fazzini, Letizia Polini, and Marilena Renda, who guided the audience through an itinerary of verses and memories. The evening paid homage to the poet Francesco Scarabicchi, linked to his early years spent in the city, and to the Beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, author of verses dedicated to Grottammare.
