Edition 2025 — The Procession
On April 18, 2025, Good Friday, Oppido Lucano renewed La Preggessione with its approximately 180 actors, retracing the Passion of Christ from the entrance into Jerusalem to the Way of the Cross and the crucifixion, along the streets of the historic center.
The 2025 Edition
In 2025, La Preggessione took place on Friday, April 18, Good Friday. As every year since 1979, the Gruppo Recupero Tradizioni Locali and the approximately 180 actors of Oppido Lucano brought the scenes of the Passion to life: from the entrance into Jerusalem in Piazza Marconi to the Last Supper, from the trials to the Way of the Cross through the alleys of the historic center, up to the crucifixion, in an edition of great intensity and participation.
