The Polentata

The 28th edition of The Polentata confirmed the event's deep roots in the Villavallelonga community. On Sunday, August 3, 2025, Piazza IV Novembre hosted the full day of festivities organized by the Pro Loco: the morning was dedicated to fried pizzas, both sweet and savory, and to children's drawings, which were then displayed on the square's staircase in the afternoon. From 7:00 PM, the distribution of traditional polenta with sauce and sausage began, accompanied by live music that animated the evening in the village at the foot of the Abruzzo National Park. A free event that, after nearly thirty years, remains one of the symbols of the Marsica summer.
