The Pilgrim's Food

On August 23 and 24, 2025, from 6:00 PM, the Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere in Fossacesia hosted The Pilgrim's Food, a food, wine, and cultural event organized by the APS I Trabocchi as part of the Radicì Project.

The event offered a journey through time with historical re-enactments and tastings of traditional medieval dishes, bringing together culture, gastronomy, and local identity in the evocative setting of the Benedictine complex overlooking the Adriatic. The initiative, dedicated to enhancing the agricultural, tourist, and cultural excellence of the Costa dei Trabocchi, was part of the rich Bellestate 2025 summer calendar of the Municipality of Fossacesia, in the province of Chieti (Abruzzo).
