The Paths of Odalengo Piccolo — Inauguration of the San Michele Section

Throughout 2025, the Odalengo Piccolo Astronomical Observatory, in the Province of Alessandria, enlivened the Monferrato hills with its popular evening openings. The evenings, organized by the "Cielo del Monferrato" Amateur Astronomers Group, were held by reservation only and featured guided observations of the night sky, with expert explanations dedicated to the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects. The hilly location, far from the light pollution of the plains, made the experience particularly evocative. In case of cloudy skies, the evenings were cancelled. These activities laid the groundwork for the project, presented in 2026, to enhance the Odalengo section of the San Michele Path.
