The twentieth anniversary of the Passion

The twentieth edition of the sacred performance took place in Rocca di Papa on April 13, 2025, organized by the Pro Loco Città di Rocca di Papa APS with the patronage of the Municipality and the collaboration of the Castelli Romani Regional Park and the UNPLI.

The direction of Davide Faina led the audience, walking from scene to scene, through the final days of Jesus: the washing of the feet, the Last Supper, the confrontation with Herod and Pontius Pilate, the climb to Calvary, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection. The cast, entirely composed of local volunteers, featured Filippo Di Vita in the role of Christ, Lorena Gatta as Mary, Angelo Querini as Pontius Pilate, and Massimo Onesti as Herod, along with Roman soldiers, apostles, priests, and the people.

The period costumes designed by Danira Sciamplicotti and Roberta Gabrielli were highly appreciated. At the end of the evening, the president of the Pro Loco, Donatella Paone, and the councilor for events, Ottavio Atripaldi, spoke, recalling how the event unites tradition, culture, and faith.
