Edition 2025 — Passion of Christ

The 48th edition of the Passion of Christ was held in Bracciano on Friday, April 18, 2025, Good Friday. The sacred re-enactment, organized by the Rione Monti with the patronage of the Municipality, brought the historic center to life with the traditional living Stations of the Cross and hundreds of costumed participants, culminating in the Crucifixion at the Orsini-Odescalchi Castle.

The 2025 edition

The 48th edition of the Passion of Christ was staged in Bracciano on Friday, April 18, 2025, on the occasion of Good Friday. As per tradition, the event was organized by the Rione Monti with the patronage of the Municipality of Bracciano, in Lazio.

The sacred performance retraced the final days of Jesus through scenes set up in the historic center, from the Stations of the Cross through the illuminated streets of the village to the Crucifixion and Resurrection set at the Orsini-Odescalchi Castle. The event, with free admission, confirmed its appeal to the Bracciano community and visitors to the lake area.
