Edition 2025 — The Nights of the Brigand Papa Ciro

The 2025 edition of "The Nights of the Brigand Papa Ciro" took place on September 20 and 21, 2025, in the historic center of Francavilla Fontana. The itinerant theatrical show, starting from Castello Imperiali and ending in Piazza Umberto I, retraced the story of the brigand priest Don Ciro Annicchiarico in six scenes, featuring about sixty actors and costumed extras. Admission was free, with booking required.

On September 20 and 21, 2025, the historic center of Francavilla Fontana hosted "The Nights of the Brigand Papa Ciro," an itinerant theatrical re-enactment organized by the Sylva tour and Didactics Association of Alberobello with the patronage of the Municipality.

The audience, divided into small groups departing at regular intervals from Castello Imperiali, walked through the alleys of the old town, following six scenes performed by about sixty actors and costumed extras. The narrative, dedicated to the figure of Don Ciro Annicchiarico and the "Decisi" sect, concluded in Piazza Umberto I. Access was free, with booking recommended.
