Edition 2025 — The Nights of San Lorenzo

In August 2025, "The Nights of San Lorenzo" guided locals and visitors in observing shooting stars with three evenings between the EUR Planetarium and Villa di Massenzio. Shows dedicated to the Perseids took place under the Planetarium dome, while on the evening of August 12th, the Circus of Maxentius on the Appian Way hosted the Star Party with astronomers and a link-up to the Virtual Telescope.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of "The Nights of San Lorenzo," promoted by Rome, took place between August 10th and 12th, during the peak activity of the Perseids meteor shower. The evenings at the Rome Planetarium in EUR featured immersive shows under the dome dedicated to shooting stars and families.

As per tradition, the final evening on August 12th was held at the Villa di Massenzio archaeological complex along the Appian Way, with the San Lorenzo Star Party: sky observation led by Planetarium astronomers in a unique setting among the remains of the ancient imperial residence, in the Municipality of Rome, in the Lazio region.
