Edition 2025 — Notte delle Streghe Casagreca

In 2025, the village of Casagreca di Cortino hosted an event dedicated to St. John's Eve, part of the efforts to promote the rural villages of the Laga area. The evening, themed around the woods, witches, and local legends, anticipated the traveling format of theater, storytelling, and folk tradition that characterizes The Night of the Witches, combining peasant memory with the rediscovery of the small Abruzzese mountain village.

In 2025, the village of Casagreca, a hamlet of Cortino (TE), proposed an evening dedicated to St. John's Eve, focusing on the woods, witches, and legends of the Monti della Laga area. The initiative, linked to the promotion of the territory's rural villages, represented a moment of rediscovery of local oral traditions and popular beliefs that animate the most magical night of the summer.
