The Nativity Scenes in the Nativity Scene

The 2025 edition of 'I Presepi nel Presepe' took place in Pesche from December 13th (Santa Lucia) to January 6th. The historic center of the nativity scene village was filled with handcrafted nativity scenes set up in the streets and niches of the village. The event featured the national nativity scene competition, the national poetry prize dedicated to themes of peace and brotherhood, the living nativity scene (on December 28th), and the innovative 'Presepe 4.0', with virtual scenes generated by artificial intelligence and accessible via QR code from a smartphone. Organized by the Municipality together with local associations, the festival confirmed its role as a showcase for the cultural and tourist heritage of Molise.
