Edition 2025 — Crevacuore Living Chess

In 2025, Crevacuore once again renewed its appointment with the Living Chess, bringing the Middle Ages back to the historic center of the upper Valsessera. Costumed pageants, an artisan market, the Canestrello Festival, a medieval dinner, and the grand chess match animated by performers drew visitors from all over Piedmont, confirming the success of the event organized by the Gruppo Manifestazioni crevacuoresi in piazza.

The 2025 edition of the Living Chess of Crevacuore, in the Province of Biella, re-proposed the formula that made the event famous: two days of medieval re-enactment with historical pageants, artisan and food stalls, the Canestrello Festival, and a medieval dinner in the village.

The highlight was once again the living chess match, with performers interpreting the pieces on the large chessboard set up in the square, accompanied by parades, musicians, flag-wavers, and evening shows. An event that continues to promote the history and traditions of the upper Valsessera.
