Edition 2025 — The Jubilee of Lorenzo Lotto

In 2025, the Holy Year of the Jubilee of Hope, the Pontifical Sanctuary Museum of the Holy House of Loreto welcomed thousands of pilgrims and visitors, showcasing its extraordinary artistic heritage, starting with the collection of works by Lorenzo Lotto. This jubilee context laid the groundwork for the exhibition project 'The Jubilee of Lorenzo Lotto', which came to fruition in 2026 after its initial stop in Trescore Balneario.

The Museum in the Jubilee Year 2025

During the Holy Year 2025, the Pontifical Sanctuary Museum of the Holy House in Loreto (Marche) was a destination for a large flow of pilgrims heading to one of Italy's main Marian sanctuaries. It was in this year that the collaboration between the Loreto museum and the Municipality of Trescore Balneario regarding Lorenzo Lotto matured, leading to the 'The Jubilee of Lorenzo Lotto' exhibition in 2026. The museum continued to offer its permanent collection to visitors, featuring works by Lotto, tapestries based on designs by Raphael, and pharmacy maiolica.
