Edition 2025 — The Great Italian Quartets

In 2025, the Malibran Festival brought the "Le Otto Stagioni" concert to the Luigi Mercantini Theatre in Ripatransone, an unprecedented dialogue between Antonio Vivaldi and Astor Piazzolla. On June 2, 2025, at 6:00 PM, violinist Luca Marziali performed accompanied by a cello quartet, in an evening that combined Baroque music and contemporary tango in the heart of Piceno.

The 2025 edition of the Malibran Festival in Ripatransone featured, on June 2, 2025, the concert "Le Otto Stagioni" (The Four Seasons), an original project that intertwined Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons with Astor Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.

The soloist was violinist Luca Marziali, accompanied by a cello quartet (Sara Gentile, Carlo Onori, Diego Romano, and Danilo Squitieri), in an arrangement by composer Paolo Zannini. The Mercantini Theatre confirmed its chamber vocation with an evening of great intensity, testifying to the collaboration between the Malibran Academy and the Municipality of Ripatransone, in the Province of Ascoli Piceno.
