Edition 2025 — Gaite Market
The 2025 edition of the Mercato delle Gaite bore the title "Vassene 'l tempo e l'uom non se n'avvede" (Time passes and man does not notice), dedicated to Dante, Petrarch, and Boccaccio, the three crowns at the origins of the Italian language. From June 18 to 29, every evening from 9 PM to 11 PM, the workshops of the four crafts were open: the paper mill of Maestro Cecco (Gaita San Giovanni), the candle maker (Gaita San Pietro), the painter (Gaita San Giorgio), and the silk weaver (Gaita Santa Maria).
The program included historical and literary meetings, conferences, street and theatrical performances, concerts, singing and music workshops, an exhibition of musical instruments, and guided tours to discover medieval Bevagna, in the province of Perugia. The four Gaite competed in the Gastronomic, Crafts, Market, and Archery competitions.
