Edition 2025 — Fridays of Herculaneum

The eighth edition of The Fridays of Herculaneum took place every Friday from July 4 to August 8, 2025, from 8:00 PM to midnight, with the theme "Body and Myth." The Archaeological Park was transformed into an expansive stage among the domus, streets, and shops of the ancient city, brought to life by theatre, dance, and live music. Among the year's novelties was the ability to explore the excavations independently using the free "Ercolano Digitale" app.

"Body and Myth" — the 2025 edition

In 2025, The Fridays of Herculaneum celebrated its eighth edition with the theme "Body and Myth": a journey that explored the relationship between the human body—its metamorphoses, its desires, its rituals—and myth, through different artistic languages. Every Friday, from July 4 to August 8, the Herculaneum Archaeological Park opened its gates from 8:00 PM to midnight, offering dance, theatre, and live music performances distributed among the illuminated ruins.

One of the main novelties of the edition was the free exploration of the area, with the possibility of discovering the archaeology at night independently thanks to the free "Ercolano Digitale" app, confirming the site's vocation, in the town of Ercolano, as a meeting place between historical memory and contemporary artistic languages.
