Edition 2025 — Fogheraccia of Saint Joseph
The 2025 edition of La Fogheraccia di San Giuseppe in San Savino renewed the ancient fire rite that accompanies the eve of March 18th in Romagna. As tradition dictates, the evening took place in the heart of the hamlet of Montescudo-Monte Colombo, in the province of Rimini, with the propitiatory bonfire symbolizing the end of winter and the anticipation of the good season.
The festival, curated by the Associazione E Poz D'la Piva APS along with the local Pro Loco associations, confirmed its convivial format, featuring music and a reception with specialties from Romagna's culinary tradition, in a community gathering atmosphere that is the true heart of this popular Valconca event.
