Edition 2025 โ€” Fairytale Village

The sixth edition of the Fairytale Village took place from August 10th to 19th, 2025, at the Borgo dei Normanni in Colliano, with The Sword in the Stone as its central theme: King Arthur and his knights welcomed families among the alleys and terraces of the medieval village. Alongside the roving shows, the edition offered an awareness-raising path on children's rights and against gender-based violence.

The 2025 edition

The sixth edition of the Fairytale Village was held from August 10th to 19th, 2025, at the Borgo dei Normanni in Colliano, in the province of Salerno. The chosen theme was The Sword in the Stone: the village was populated by King Arthur and his knights, with children invited to try and pull the sword, while guest characters included famous figures like Pippi Longstocking.

Roving shows took place from late afternoon until evening, with the final moment in front of Palazzo Borriello and the climb towards the Norman castle. In addition to the spectacular part, the edition dedicated space to children's rights, with an area on emotional education and a red shoes installation against gender-based violence.

The event was promoted by the association ยซMa dove vivono i cartoni!?ยป by Aurora Manuele, with artistic direction by Francesco Chiaiese, together with the Municipality of Colliano, the Tourism Group of Confindustria Salerno, and the Rete Destinazione Sud.
