The Days of Azzolino 2025: the XXVII edition

The 2025 edition of the re-enactment in Grottazzolina, in the Marche region, was held from July 29 to August 4, 2025. The program combined major historical re-enactments and cultural events, from the "Colto Medioevo" ancient music concert to meetings on the Piceni people.

On August 2, the night parade "The Triumph of Azzo VII d'Este" with guest historical delegations, the battle reconstruction "The Surrender of the Canons", and the 19th Azzo VII d'Este Trophy for historical archery took place. On August 3, "The Joust of the Monk", the equestrian challenge with a mace between the cities of the White Eagle, was staged. The eight taverns offered 13th-century menus with dishes like tripe, roast goose, and spelt tagliatelle, alongside juggling shows, flag throwers, and fire manipulation performances.
