About The City on Stage
Prose at the Mirano Theatre
La Città a Teatro is the prose season that animates the Mirano Theatre, in the heart of the town in the province of Venice. From November to May, the programme offers a balance between great actor's theatre, brilliant comedy, contemporary dramaturgy, and excursions into dance, with shows that generally start at 8:30 PM.
A Programme Balancing Well-Known Names and Research
The review dialogues between nationally renowned actors and companies with research productions and civil theatre. The 2025/2026 season featured, among others, Emilio Solfrizzi, Veronica Pivetti, Davide Enia, Tindaro Granata, and the company Pantakin.
A Season Built on the Territory
La Città a Teatro is promoted by the Municipality of Mirano together with Arteven – Regional Multidisciplinary Circuit of Veneto and La Piccionaia – Theatre Production Centre, with the support of the Veneto Region, the Metropolitan City of Venice, and the Ministry of Culture.
The City on Stage — edition 2026
The 2026 events of the La Città a Teatro review at the Mirano Theatre conclude the 2025/2026 prose season, all at 8:30 PM. The programme alternates great actor's theatre with civil dramaturgy, featuring a concluding show outside the subscription dedicated to the Day of Legality.
The season is promoted by the Municipality of Mirano with Arteven and La Piccionaia.

How to get there
The Mirano Theatre is located in Via della Vittoria, in the centre of Mirano. The city is reachable by car from the SR245 and the A4 motorway; by train, the reference stations are Mestre and Dolo with bus connections.
