Edition 2025 — The City and the Stars

The 31st edition of The City and the Stars took place on August 29 and 30, 2025, at the Polo Museale Santo Spirito in Lanciano. Two evenings, starting at 9:30 PM, dedicated to telescope observations of planets, stars, and deep-sky objects, along with the planetarium and the updated "Lights of the Universe" photography exhibition. Organized by the Gruppo Astrofili Frentani, free admission.

The City and the Stars 2025 — 31st edition

The 31st edition of The City and the Stars was held on August 29 and 30, 2025, at the Polo Museale Santo Spirito in Lanciano, starting at 9:30 PM. The Gruppo Astrofili Frentani offered two evenings of direct sky observations with classic telescopes and a new smart telescope for digital observation of summer sky objects.

Accompanying the observations were planetarium projections and the updated "Lights of the Universe" photography exhibition, featuring astronomical images created by members and printed on 60x40 aluminum panels. The event, free and included in the Lanciano Estate 2025 program, confirmed the city's commitment to scientific outreach.
