The 2025 Christmas Fire

The eve of December 24, 2025, confirmed the strength of a tradition that knows no interruptions in Giuliano di Roma. The bad weather did not stop the Fochisti Giulianesi, who worked under incessant rain to select, transport, and arrange the wood, completing the construction of the great fire in front of the parish church on time.

The lighting was entrusted to Mayor Adriano Lampazzi, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Antonio Lampazzi and historic members of the group, including Giuseppe Biasini and Antonio Luzi. Different generations — children, families, the elderly, and young people who returned for the holidays — gathered around the flames in an evening described by the local press as one of the most well-attended in recent years, before the transition to the church for midnight mass.
