Edition 2025 — The Chestnut Festival

In the 2025 edition, La Castagna in Festa enlivened Piazza XX Settembre in Sarnico with roasted chestnuts and autumn flavours of the region, including bread and salamina, polenta and local specialities, in a village festival with free admission organised by the Pro Loco on Lake Iseo.

In 2025, La Castagna in Festa once again brought the flavours of the Bergamo autumn to Piazza XX Settembre in Sarnico. The stars were the roasted chestnuts, accompanied by typical regional products such as bread and salamina, polenta with stracchino from Monte Bronzone or gorgonzola, in a convivial atmosphere on the shores of Lake Iseo.

The event, organised by Pro Loco Sarnico with AVIS, confirmed its role as an autumn highlight of the Basso Sebino area, successfully combining taste, tradition, and solidarity with free admission.
