Edition 2025 — The Charm of the Middle Ages

The 7th edition of The Charm of the Middle Ages in Spoltore took place on Saturday, July 5, and Sunday, July 6, 2025, organized by the Associazione Gianni Silvidii ODV in its twentieth anniversary year. Two days of dances, combat, falconry, lectures, and medieval-themed gastronomy in the historic center, with the grand re-enactment of the 1269 invasion as the culmination of the evenings.

2025 Edition

The 7th edition was held on July 5 and 6, 2025. From 11:30 AM, Piazza Q. Di Marzio, Piazza D'Albenzio, and Largo San Giovanni hosted the armed encampment with costumed performers. In the evening: at 7:30 PM, scenes of medieval life in Piazza D'Albenzio with short theatrical sketches and duels; at 8:30 PM, ancient dance show in Largo San Giovanni with flag-wavers; at 9:00 PM, ancient music concert, juggling, and storytelling; at 10:00 PM, sword and shield combat demonstrations; at 10:30 PM, the re-enactment of the 1269 siege with the mercenaries of Rudolph of Saxony against the castle defenders; at 11:00 PM, the grand finale with fire rituals (Saturday) and warrior monks (Sunday).
