Edition 2025 — The Castellana of Alcamo

In 2025, the historical re-enactment of The Castellana of Alcamo had not yet been established: the competition and the costume pageant were created in 2026. During that period, Alcamo still celebrated the traditional June festivities dedicated to the patron saint, Maria Santissima dei Miracoli, the heart of the city's devotion from which the new historical event originates.

In June 2025, the city of Alcamo (province of Trapani) celebrated, as it does every year, the festivities dedicated to the patron saint Maria Santissima dei Miracoli, with the procession of the statue and the religious and popular events in the historic center.

The actual historical re-enactment, with the costume pageant and the Castellana competition, was not yet part of the program: it was conceived and realized for the first time in 2026, enriching a celebration already deeply rooted in the Alcamo tradition.
