Edition 2025 — Burning of the Old Woman
The 2025 Rogo della Vecchia edition confirmed the tradition of the ancient spring rite of the Bassa bresciana in Borgo San Giacomo.
After the symbolic "trial", the "old woman" effigy was set ablaze in a large bonfire, preceded by a procession through the village streets accompanied by band music. A festival that, thanks to the community's and the oratory's efforts, continues to pass down the folklore and peasant culture of the region to new generations.
